SPACING IS ALL MESSED UP ON PURCHASE ORDER FORM

Hi there, niloo.

I'm here to assist you with your purchase order concern.

The browser's zoom level or font settings can affect how the spacing of your purchase order forms appear. To isolate the issue, you can reset your browser zoom and font settings to defaults. (edited)

For Chrome:

  1. Click the Menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window or press Alt + F on your keyboard.
  2. Select Settings, go to the Appearance tab.
  3. Set the correct font size and page zoom.

For Edge:

  1. Click the Menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window or press Alt + F on your keyboard.
  2. Select Settings, go to the Appearance tab.
  3. Scroll-down to the Zoom section, then pick the correct percentage.
  4. Under the Font section, set the desired font size.

For Safari:

  • To increase the font size, press Option-Command-Plus sign (+)
  • To decrease the font size, press Option-Command-Minus sign (-)
  • To increase the zoom level, press Command-Plus sign (+)
  • To decrease the zoom level, press Command-Minus sign (-)

Furthermore, if you want to get a snapshot of your business, you can run reports in QBO. Here's an article that can help you with that: Run reports in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any follow-up questions about your purchase order template. I'm always here to help you. Take care.

unfortunately that was not the issue - no one changed the template. This has been happening VERY often when our existing templates get altered in a very dysfunctional way without our knowledge.

SPACING IS ALL MESSED UP ON PURCHASE ORDER FORM

I understand how frustrating this is, @niloo. Please know this isn't the experience we want you to have. Allow me to provide some troubleshooting steps to help fix this issue.

First, let's make sure that your software is up-to-date. Updating software will ensure you have the latest fixes and improvements.

Next, let's clear the browser cache. Clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser can provide a fresh start for QuickBooks to function. Here's how:

  1. Try using a private or incognito browser.
  2. Restart your browser.
  3. Clear your browser's cache.
  4. Add Intuit as a trusted site.

Below are the shortcut keys you can use:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Moreover, let's verify system requirements  for QuickBooks to function optimally. Incompatibility with systems or hardware can lead to unexpected behavior in the software.

If the issue persists after trying the above steps, consider contacting our Customer Care Support team. Here's how to do it:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online
  2. Select the Help (?) icon.
  3. Type in Talk to a human, then press Enter.
  4. Select Contact Support Team.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us.

In addition, I've included this article to guide you on how to manage reports in QBO: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online
