Is there a report by tag group that will also provide the company totals for comparison?
We'd like to see a report that shows each tag's percent of total company income. See the attached image for an example.
Is this even possible? Is there a special way to customize another report for this? Thank you for your help!

I'm here to help you with pulling up the report you need in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Yes, you can run two reports for this. First is the Income by Customer Summary report for the percentage comparison. Then, the Transaction List by Tag Group report. This report categorizes the transactions by tag group. I'll guide you on how.
Once done, prepare the Income by Customer Summary report as shown on your screenshot. From there, export both reports to Excel and adjust the columns from there.

@Angelyn_T I was hoping there was a way to build the report in QBO, instead of using Excel magic. My client wants to be able to run the report themselves.
Right now, you need to manually compare tag reports by combining them in one Excel file, SHSBookkeepers.
You can run reports for tag groups and see each totals. Then, export them to Excel and combine the data from there.
In additional to this, the report that can compare your income and expenses is the Profit and Loss financial statement.
