The journal entries that I am making are not updating to the the accounts?

Hey there, @rodonnell.

 

Let's verify the journal entry if we've entered its correct date. Then, run a report and make sure to choose a specific date range.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. In the Find report by name field, type in "Journal."
  3. Click on the Customize button.
  4. Modify the reporting date.
  5. Under the Filter section, select Journal entry in the Transaction Type drop-down menu.
  6. Click Run report.
