To get to an old journal entry:
You can open Journal Entry form (create + sign > other > Journal Entry) > upper left corner, click 'clock' icon for recent journal entries and click 'more' if need to expand the list of old journals. See screenshot.
You can also print QBO built-in 'Journal' report. Click Customize button and sort transaction type by the journal entry and run the report.

Also, under search> advanced, select Journal entries. This was easiest IMO
