Firstly, if you're pulling up the Transaction List by Customer report, please ensure you tick or check the Invoice date box. This way, you can view the invoice date and your customer name.

I’m not doing any “report”. I’m simply under sales, transaction list by customer. Under settings to add or remove columns there is no longer an Invoice Date for a column. Quickbooks shows doing work in here and it looks like they made it worse.
This is not a “report”. I’m under Sales, Transaction List, Customer. The Invoice Date column is gone and not even an option to choose from. Also the columns are cutting off . This is all new within the past month. Quickbooks shows doing changes in this Sales area and they seem to have messed something up.
The Transaction List window already have the invoice date column by default, msclean. You can scroll down and click the left arrow icon to make the date visible. After that, close the Search by Name or Details window on the left side. I'll show you how.
On the Customer page, scroll down and click the left arrow icon until the date appears. You can also close the window that appears on the left side by clicking the hamburger icon. Please refer to the sample screenshot below for further assistance.
If the same thing happens, you can access the QuickBooks Online account in a private browser to check if the missing date column is due to your browser settings or extensions. Here are the shortcut keys:
If it works fine, clear the browser cache to boost your browser's speed and overall performance. You can also use another browser.
