Hello, today I learned how to link Vendor refunds with the relating bank deposits. (I did not realize they had to be linked). I went through last fiscal year and cleaned those up. I also went through this fiscal year and did the same. However, my Unpaid Bills Detail report still shows some balances. Those balances should show zero because I'm sure I addressed each one. I've attached a file for the visual, which hopefully will shed some light on my problem. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can clear all of the 2022 entries since they net to zero. You have $399.59 in "bills" and $399.59 in credits. To clear them, go to Pay bills, check off all of the "bills" dated in 2022. You should have the same amount of credits to "pay" those. Then, you're just left with $32.98 in credits that you need deposits/bills to apply them to in 2023.
Hello there, victoriah. It's good to see you here today. Let me help you regarding your Unpaid Bills report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
To fix this concern, I suggest double-checking the Unpaid Bills report again to see any missed transactions. It's helpful to review the date range to identify any missing transactions. To do this, you can select "All" in the date range to display all unpaid transactions. Additionally, you may want to consider running a Vendor Open Balance report to determine any outstanding balances that need to be addressed. Let me show you how:
If you notice an outstanding balance, link your payment to the corresponding bill. This will ensure that the bill is marked as paid and that your account shows a zero balance for unpaid bills.
On the other hand, I'll leave this article to guide you in case you want to personalize your reports in QBDT: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
