You might be using QuickBooks Desktop before. The option to add shaded alternating lines to invoices and other sales transactions is only available in the Desktop version.
Although, you can add colors to your templates in QBO. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
- Click New style, then select Invoice. You can also edit the current template if you want to continue using it by clicking the Edit button under the Action column.
- Proceed to the Design tab add click Try other colors.
- Make the changes to the colors that you want.
- Select Done.
You can read more details about this here: Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Our engineers would also like to get your suggestion or feedback about adding the same feature in QBO. Customer inputs and suggestions are always used and considered whenever new updates are designed. Use this article as a guide: How Do I Submit Feedback?
As always, post more questions in the form should you still need more help from us. We're always here to make sure everything is sorted out.
