Hi there, chris238.

I'll present instructions to assure that you're able to save the photos of receipts to a computer or print them to get a hard copy. I suggest updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version. With this, printing issues in QuickBooks Online can be resolved.

However, if you already updated to the latest version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat and it hasn’t fixed the problem, you'll need to repair your Adobe installation.

Here's how:

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.
  2. Choose the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Type Control Panel and press Enter.
  4. Select Programs and Features. Then, choose Acrobat or Adobe Reader, then Uninstall/Change.
  5. From the Setup dialog box, select Next. And, choose Repair, then Next.
  6. Hit Install. When the process is complete, select Finish.
  7. Restart your computer.
  8. Log back into QuickBooks Online, then try to print.

For additional information and to see other steps to resolve printing problems, you can refer to this article: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat.

Why update Adobe if we are trying to print a jpg?  We use Foxit and PDF receipts print no problem.

I can share some tips on how you can download them, chris238.

You don't have to update the Adobe application since you're using Foxit to manage and print your PDF receipts. Additionally, the Print and Download options are currently unavailable in the Receipts tab.

As a workaround, you can utilize the built-in Save image as function of your web browser to download the receipts. Once done, you may now print the file outside QuickBooks Online. When you're ready, here's how to do it:

  1. Select Transactions or Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Receipts tab.
  3. Click the appropriate receipt to open it.
  4. Right-click the image of the receipt, then choose Save image as.
  5. Select the appropriate location, then enter the name of the file.
  6. Click Save to complete the process.

Aside from the Receipts tab, you can also go to Attachments to download your receipts. I'll show you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Select Attachments.
  3. Locate the receipt, then click Download from the Action column to open the image in another window.
  4. Right-click the image of the receipt, then choose Save image as.
  5. Select the appropriate location, then enter the name of the file.
  6. Click Save to complete the process.

I've also included some articles that will help you manage the expense receipts and bills that you capture:

Feel free to reach out to me again with any questions you may have and I would be more than happy to help. Have a great rest of the day.
