QB will "hold" your money for any given amount of time.  Sometimes it may only be a day. Another, it will be months on end.  You see, they (Intuit/ QB, collects interest off of your money. That's why they hold it).  They will even tell you that you received an email about it.  Not true!! Not everyone, especially those that are getting it help for weeks, or even months, receives an email from them.

It's all very dishonest.

I hope you get your money released soon.

Good luck.

What could be the issue when a payment says paid but I can't see the money in my account

Hi, vivian.

Allow me to share the possible cause of why you didn't receive the payment even if the invoice already shows as paid in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

For new QuickBooks Payments users, early deposits take a bit longer while we set up your account, which could take within five business days. We'll email you once everything is processed to inform you that your payments will be handled at a regular speed.

If you've processed payments before, funds usually reach your bank account within two business days. However, it varies depending on the time of day you enter the entries, which financial institution you choose for transactions to be deposited in, and how long it takes your bank to confirm and process electronic deposits.

To learn more about deposit speed, please see this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

For now, let's check the Merchant Service Center page to see when the deposit was made. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. Select the Activity & Reports tab and then All Statements.

  3. Find your most recent statement and click View.

  4. Enter the last four digits of your Tax ID number.
  5. View the Date in the Activity Summary

In the event the customer payment is on hold, you can browse this resource to learn what you can do during the review: Why are my funds on hold?.

You can also reach out to our Payments Support Team to verify the cause of the delay and provide you with the best steps to take to fix this.

If you have any other follow-up questions about the status of your invoices, let me know by adding a comment below. I'm more than happy to help.

How do I know what the problem is with my account if they customer service number one or not opened or won’t tell me that there’s an issue even though they promised me two days ago that it would be in my account before the end of the day Any suggestions?

The processing time for payments can differ based on the product that was being used, bank approval's success, and the type of payment you've chosen, Me. I'm here to provide further clarification on this.

Processing for standard deposits takes place daily, except for certain holidays. Instant Deposits, on the other hand, are accessible every day of the year.

For now, since your funds are expected to reflect tomorrow which will be the second day of the processed payment, we have to wait for the exact date to see whether the payments will reflect on your account or not.

If not, funds may be held for several reasons, including risk assessments, detection of unusual activity, verification processes, regulatory compliance, or high volumes of transactions. These precautions are necessary to maintain the integrity of transactions and to guard against fraudulent activity.

Moreover, you can contact our Payments Support Team if you won't be able to receive the payments after the allotted time given for your payment processing. They have the tools that are suitable to provide real-time assistance through screen-sharing sessions.

Here's an article you can read to check the status of your payments, along with the possible reasons and workaround for checking your payments in QuickBooks: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Furthermore, you can also check this article to learn how bank deposits in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop:

Let's stay positive about your payment reflecting tomorrow, Me. Please don't hesitate to revisit this thread by clicking the Reply button. We're always here to extend help.
