What does it mean when client pays invoice and it says reviewing payment

It's good to see you here, Iscott.

Let me share insights about why your client's invoice payment is still in review.

If you're a new user, your first set of payments will be deposited in up to 5 business days. Since we are still setting up your account, it may take some time. Once the first payment is processed, subsequent payments will be deposited into your bank account much faster.

Payments processed before 3:00 p.m. PST in QuickBooks Online (QBO) will be deposited to your bank account the next business day, and those received after 3:00 p.m. PST will be deposited within two business days.

Payments made before 3 p.m. PST should be in your bank account in two business days if you don't have a next-day deposit. We'll start the deposit the next business day if you process payments after 3 p.m. PST.

To learn more about this process, check out this article: Find Out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Your Money.

I'd recommend contacting our Merchants Services Support Team if the payment is still not deposited within the specified time frame. Since they can request account information, this team is the best resource for such questions. They can also check the payment's status and investigate why it hasn't yet been placed into your account.

I'm also adding this resource to learn about recording invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you still have questions about invoice payments or other concerns. I'll be there to help in any way I can.
