Hello, @electrickservice.
There are possible reasons why you're unable to view your saved estimate. It could be due to the date period or it was accidentally deleted. Let's verify this together.
To begin with, let's double-check if the estimate shows up after applying the right date filter on the All Sales tab.
Here are the steps you can follow:
- Go to Sales.
- Choose All sales.
- On the All transactions dropdown, select Estimates.
Moreover, you can use the Audit log to track the transaction further. This report records every transaction and modification made within the system. You can find detailed steps in this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online. If there's a history of deletion, we'll have to recreate the transaction.
If there are no records of deletion, let's verify if the problem is caused by excessive browser data. It could be affecting the performance of QBO, leading to unusual behavior in the system. To confirm, please open your QBO account using a private browsing window.
Kindly refer to the keyboard shortcut keys below to proceed:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
After opening QBO in a private window, let them try to edit the transaction. If the update is successful, clear your regular browser's cache and cookies. You can also utilize other supported browsers.
Alternatively, adding estimates to your templates in QBO can be done by following the tips in this article: Customize sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
If you have further questions about managing your estimates in QBO, I'm fully prepared to assist you.
