What is going on with searching? It just spins?

I know some fixes to resolve the spinning issue when searching, lseibel.

Unexpected behaviors in QuickBooks Online are sometimes caused by a browser-related issue. The stored cache can affect the performance of the program.

To fix this, I'd suggest accessing your QuickBooks Online account via a private window. This doesn't use the existing cache files, which makes it a good place to determine if there's an issue with the browser.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

Once signed in, use the Search button. If it works, let's clear the browser's cache. This removes its stored files to ensure the program performs efficiently.

Also, you can use other supported browsers. They'll provide the best and most secure experience with QuickBooks.

Additionally, I've included these articles that'll help you in searching transactions in QuickBooks Online:

I also suggest sharing what you'd like to search in the program. This way, we'll be able to provide accurate steps to see it.

Please keep us posted on your progress in resolving this issue, lseibel. It's our priority to get this resolved.
