When installing a new scanner or scanning documents, you need to set up the QuickBooks Scan Manager for QuickBooks Attached Documents. Please know that you must use a TWAIN compliant scanner with QuickBooks Scan Manager to ensure that you'll be able to attach files to your transactions to avoid any issues.
