When I do sale receipts I do not get a new number. It always says the number is already used. How do I get the numbers to sequence?

When I do sale receipts I do not get a new number. It always says the number is already used. How do I get the numbers to sequence?

I hope you're having a fantastic Friday. You can create a sales receipt and manually enter the next number in the sequence for the numbers to go back in sync. This will allow the program to reset the order of the numbers and generate them correctly. You can also clear your cache and cookies from your browser to allow your browsing data to reset and QuickBooks to run smoother.
