Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Community page, @info288.

If I may ask, does your bank account connected to QuickBooks? There may be transactions that were automatically uploaded to your bank account which cause a duplicate to the manually added ones.

If not, or the invoice just doubles every time you create them, let's try creating invoices or transactions in a private window. Sometimes, the regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks.

To access a private browser, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

If everything works fine, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, using other supported browsers can help us narrow the cause of this behavior.

Hello there, @info288

Thanks for following up on this thread.

Before going into detail, I want to ask if you could provide me a screenshot of the duplicate invoices? This will allow me to take a further look into the issue you're having and be able to provide the best solution.

For now, you can manually delete those duplicate invoices in QBO. I'd be happy to walk you through the steps on how to delete a duplicate invoice.

Here's how:

  1. Find and open the duplicate invoice.
  2. Click More at the bottom.
  3. Select Delete
  4. Choose Yes

You can also check out this article to learn more about deleting invoices and other transactions: How to void or delete an invoice or other transactions.

I look forward to chatting with you soon. Have a good one!
