When I try to create a check to pay vendor bills, I get an error message: "We're sorry. This feature is not included in your QuickBooks Online Essentials subscription."

Hi there, @cyruswhite.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support.

The ability to create checks to pay Vendors is included with the QuickBooks Online Essentials subscription plan. Since you're receiving that error message, let's go ahead and try some basic troubleshooting steps. Such as clearing the browsers cache.

Web browsers collect cache to save time when loading repetitive data and images. Over time, these files can become outdated and corrupted, causing issues like the one with your subscription error. I've included the links for all supported browsers that contain the steps to clear the cache below.

After clearing cache, make sure to restart your browser. Then, try creating a check again.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always here to lend a hand. Take care!

Your reply is frustrating and angering. This is not a cache issue. I just learned from support "there is a reported investigation about 'Error: Something's not quite right. We're sorry. This feature is not included in your Quickbooks Online Essentials subscription.' Our engineers are already aware of this known issue . . ."

Apparently, Intuit has allowed this problem to persist for at least six months. Now it is year-end and this business accounting product is deeply flawed.
