When making a new invoice, quickbooks is automatically zeroing out the balance, without the costumer reviewing and making a payment. How do I turn this off?

When making a new invoice, quickbooks is automatically zeroing out the balance, without the costumer reviewing and making a payment. How do I turn this off?

Let me guide you on how to turn off the automatic application of invoice payments in your QuickBooks Online account.

Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click on the gear icon at the top.
  3. Select Account and Settings under Your Company section.
  4. Click Advanced from the left menu.
  5. Go to the Automation section, click on the pencil icon.
  6. Uncheck the Automatically apply credits box.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Done.
