When printing an invoice the logo does not show up or my information on the top left

You've reached the right place for help, superbpainting-d.

There are few factors that need to be checked to successfully print a logo on the invoice. Your logo must meet the following requirements:

  • Supported file types are.gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg.
  • Your file should be smaller than 1 MB.
  • Have a bit depth (or colour depth) of 24-bits or less.
  • Use the standard RGB colour space (RGB).
  • The shape of the logo should also be square, instead of a rectangle.

If the requirements are met and you're still unable to print it, open the logo with Paint (or Preview on Mac) in case you're unable to upload the file. Then, re-save it as a .jpg file and rename it. Once saved, upload the logo one more time.

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the toolbar.
  2. Under Your Company, select Custom Form Styles.
  3. At the upper right, from the New style drop-down, select the appropriate form.
  4. Go to the Design tab, then select Make logo edits.
  5. Choose the box with Add a logo +, then the + on the next window.
  6. Locate and select the image you want to use.
  7. Select Open. Once uploading is done, select Save, then Done.

Here's an article that you can refer to for the steps on how to manage logos on sales transactions: Add, customize, or remove logos on sales forms.

Please leave a note below if you have follow-up questions. I will get back here to make sure everything is good to go.

If this doesn't work, you can try updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version. You can check out the Adobe website for the detailed instructions. If you have the updated one, you can try repairing it to resolve most printing issues in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Close Acrobat/Reader and all open web browser windows.
  2. Click the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
  3. Type Control Panel, then press Enter.
  4. Click Programs and Features.
  5. Choose Acrobat or Adobe Reader, then click Uninstall/Change.
  6. Click Next in the Setup dialog box.
  7. Choose Repair, then click Next.
  8. Select Install. Then, click Finish.

You can also check out this article to learn more about customizing templates in QBO: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QBO.

Feel free to visit our QuickBooks Help Articles page if you need some reference in completing your other tasks.

Be sure to get back to me if you have additional questions about managing invoice logos. It would be my pleasure to help. Have a good one!
