Where are the packing slips for this new invoicing format? Quickbooks surely must understand that businesses do ship products, Right?

Hi there, M-T.

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to contact the Community. Upon replicating, the packing slip is no longer available under Print and Preview in the new invoice format when you create the transaction.

However, If you need to access the packing slip for your recent transaction, you can easily do so by navigating to the Transaction List tab. Once there, you will find all the necessary information related to your purchase, including the packing slip. To view and print the packing slip, click on it, and it will be available for you to save or print out for your records.

To locate packing slips in QuickBooks Online, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to Sales and choose Customers.
  2. Pick the customer's name to display a list of their transactions.
  3. From the Transaction List tab, mark check the box next to each invoice or sales receipt for which you want to print a Packing Slip.
  4. Select the Batch actions dropdown, then choose Print packing slip.

If you wish to obtain the Packing slip, you may want to switch back to the old layout of your invoice. Once the invoice is created, you can locate it under the Print and Preview option, which will enable you to review and print the Packing slip.

Where are the packing slips for this new invoicing format? Quickbooks surely must understand that businesses do ship products, Right?

So you've replaced a one button click with a convoluted series of steps that make the user navigate away from the current invoice in order to print a packing slip? Who thought this was a good idea and what purpose does it serve?

After an Invoice is created for my business, I need to immediately print a packing slip, and I imagine many businesses need to as well. It's removing simple features like this, or making them difficult/more time consuming to access for that will make me start looking for other accounting software.

Yet another example of Intuit seemingly disregarding common sense. I took the extra couple of minutes in a busy day to log into my account, get the verification code etc. to leave this comment and let you know that you are not alone. For every one person commenting on this, there are hundreds or thousands with the same issue.

The invoice packing slip issue has since been resolved. Other issues I have submitted feedback.

How was this resolved for you? (Not being snarky I generally am wondering). I am still unable to print packing slips from an invoice, and still need to navigate away to the All Sales tab, find the very same invoice, and then use the drop down menu to access the "Print Packing Slip" option.
