While creating an estimate how or where do I add a description that would appear in the memo column of the Transaction List?

When creating an estimate, you can add a description in the Message displayed on statement box. This way, it will appear in the memo column of the Transaction List. 

Let me show you how: 

1. Click the +New button.
2. Select Estimate under Customers.
3. On the Estimate page, select the customer, and fill in the necessary information. 
4. Add a description in the Message displayed on statement box.
5. Once done, click Save.
   
   

Next, is to check if the description appears in the memo column. Here's how:

1. Select the Sales menu.
2. Click the Customers tab.
3. Choose the customer. 
4. Make sure to put a checkmark on the box next to the memo.
