Hi @snoel,

Great day and welcome to the Comunity. It seems like the Merchandise Purchases was created as a sub-account for the Cost of Goods Sold which is why it shows in the Trial Balance report. I also replicate the information on my sample account, here's how:

  1. In the Chart of Accounts page, choose the Account type as Cost of Goods Sold
  2. Select Supplies & Materials -COGS in the Detail type
  3. Enter the Merchandise Purchase under the Name field.
  4. Click the box for Is sub-account and select Cost of Goods Sold as a parent account.

As soon as you assigned the account in the Category section on the Bill, it will show on the Trial Balance report.

I'd suggest you click the amount of the transaction to review the information.  If you'll need to edit the transaction, you can find, review, and edit transactions in your account register. It will help you speed up in searching and editing your transactions.
