Why can't I view reviewed receipts?

I uploaded a receipt and realized I need to edit the memo but QBO won't let me look at any of my reviewed receipts. I've tried in Google Chrome, Safari, and using the mobile app.

Why can't I view reviewed receipts?

Thanks for reaching out to us in the Community space, jenelle-triangle.


Let's work together so you can access and view the transactions from the Review page.


Sometimes, the cache stored in your browser can become outdated and corrupted, which causes issues like what you're experiencing now.


If you haven't tried opening your account in an incognito window or private browser, let's do that to rule out the possibility of any webpage issues. This mode prevents your browsing history from being stored.


Here are the keyboard shortcuts:


  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

Then, go back to Transactions or Banking and select the Review tab. If using the private/incognito browser works for you, then I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Once done, please make sure to restart your browser.


If you're still getting the same result after the steps above, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They can review your account and can work with our engineers to resolve the issue.

  1. Go to the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. In the Search window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
  3. Enter your question and click Let's talk.
  4. Choose either Chat with us or Have us call you.

If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:


  1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
  2. Type Talk to a human and enter what do you need help with.
  3. Click No if none of the articles shared are helpful and select Chat with us or Have us call you.

Why can't I view reviewed receipts?

It's probably not you or your browser.  If you are getting an "explore" panel on the right, it's what intuit considers to be a "feature" not a bug that you can't view your receipts.  They don't care to fix it and you are just an unlucky user that they get to inflict their beta on.
