Why did the tab function stop working properly when entering a vendor bill, expense or check? Are they going to fix it?

Hello there, @cweaver3.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm here to help make sure you can use the Tab key when moving around fields in most forms in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

We haven't received any similar reports at the moment. To check if the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies), causing some unusual responses, let's sign in to your QBO using a private browser (incognito).

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, try to create a test transaction and use the Tab key to double-check.

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

To learn more about managing the Tags feature and keyboard shortcuts in QBO, consider checking out these articles:

For tips and other resources, you can also visit our website for future reference: Self-help articles.

Let me know if you have additional questions about this or anything else. I'll be more than happy to answer them. Stay safe always.

Actually, @FritzF , if you actually read ANY of the posts here, you'd know that there have been complaints about this very issue for over a month now.

@cweaver3  It is a known issue.  We have been reporting it for WEEKS.  We have been told repeatedly that they are looking into it and that we can reach out to "Support" and have our names put on the "Affected user" list.
