I'm here to assist you with creating invoices successfully. To address the error message you received, let's troubleshoot the issue together. 

 

To start with, we can use the Incognito and Private mode by using either of these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)

 

If the issue persists, switch to a different browser like Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari. Your current browser may be experiencing a temporary problem with QuickBooks, and using a new browser may help you get back to work. 

 

If you're using the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile app, I suggest updating your operating system to the latest version. For more details, check out the below links:

 

 

However, if you still get the same result, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. They have the necessary tools to investigate the root of the problem and provide a solution.

 

To reach them, here's how:

 

  1. Go to Help (?) and select Contact UsNote: If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant.
  2. Enter “talk to a human”, then select Continue.
  3. Select which way you want to connect with us. Have us call you - Get a call from a support expert or Chat with us - Start a conversation with a support expert.

Having the same issue in iOS app and multiple browsers private or otherwise. Can't send an invoice, mark anything as paid or update information of any kind.

Since you mentioned that you've already done the basic troubleshooting procedures, I suggest contacting our Customer Support Team for assistance in performing the next troubleshooting. To reach out to our Customer Support Team, here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Choose either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.

 

Please note that QBO Plus, Essentials, and Simple Start have office hours from 6 AM to 6 PM PT on weekdays and from 6 AM to 3 PM PT on Saturdays. QBO Advanced is available anytime, any day.

 

In the meantime, we can proceed with updating your iPhone or iPad to the latest version of iOS to ensure that your device is up to date.
