Why does it take Quickbooks so long to process an ACH Payment to our bank account for an invoice our customer is paying?

I'll discuss to you the turnaround time when processing customers' ACH payments, tamar-cooperhr.

 

Receiving online payments is a bank to bank process. For ACH payments, it may take 2-7 business days for the payment to be deposited. The waiting period or the time to funding would depend on the following reasons:

 

• The time of day you enter transactions
• Which financial institution you choose for your transactions to be deposited in
• How long it takes your bank to verify and process electronic deposits

You can review the charts in this article to find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits your money. With the help of the Merchant Service Center, you can check the status of the customer's payment. This will verify why the funds are not deposited in your account yet.

 

Follow these steps to get started:

 

1. Log in to your Merchant Service Center portal.
2. Select Deposits in the Activity & Reports section.
3. Enter the date range and select Search to begin the search.
4. The results are displayed on the next window. Select the triangle to the left of the line item to view details for the line. There are also options at the top to print or export the report.

I've been waiting 8 business days for the first charge to go through. Customer service says that it's a minimum of 7 days which isn't very reassuring. Why can't QB promise this will be solved in a set amount of time? How long am I supposed to wait for this charge to be processed? For a company supposedly helping businesses manage their finances, I'm shocked that this isn't a priority feature.
