Why won't reports run or why do they take so long recently?

I'm here to ensure you can run your reports smoothly, @rkessock

One potential cause is too much data or transactions on that specific report you pulled up. Your computer or mobile device's internet speed and browser requirements depend on your specific system.

Allow 10 seconds for your QBO's page to load, as Intuit expects the most-used page in the product to load. You can also check other supported browsers and ensure the operating systems meet the requirements.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Moreover, you can check out this article and learn how to get the most out of your financial reports: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.

I'll be in the comments if you need further assistance with your QBO's performance. Have a good one.

Well, that sounds good, but then as you go on with your answer, you actually don't do any such thing. Your answer basically makes no sense.

RE: Your computer or mobile device's internet speed and browser requirements depend on your specific system.

No, neither internet speed nor browser requirements have anything to do with a specific system. Internet speed is a result of your internet connection, and browser requirements come from third parties like Intuit.

I do love how you jumped right in and assumed the issue is with QuickBooks Online. Of course it actually is, since Online is so very piggishly slow of late, but the OP didn't say so.

RE: Allow 10 seconds for your QBO's page to load, as Intuit expects the most-used page in the product to load.

What does that mean? I would certainly hope that Intuit expects the most used page in QB Online to actually load. But how is that helpful information? We all expect that.

Shortcuts for what? You don't even bother to mention.

RE: I'll be in the comments if you need further assistance with your QBO's performance.

You'll be in the comments? What is that supposed to mean? I expect you'll be sitting in your chair at your desk.
