So I just received an email from QB saying on 5/22/26, Modern View will be our only option on reports. I can't convey how deeply disappointed I am with Intuit that they'd ignore so much user feedback and proceed with Modern View as the new standard, when it's so completely broken and unusable. I guess our clients will just have to get used to having nested scroll bars print on their reports, have reports cut off in weird places, and just be oddly formatted with no fix for any of it. The entire team who developed modern view needs to be let go and you guys need to start over with someone who actually knows how to program.

@N8Finances Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Modern View. Feedback like yours — especially the specific details around print formatting and report display — is valuable, and we're passing it along to our product team. If you have any additional feedback, you can submit it directly within QuickBooks Online using the feedback option, which goes straight to our developers.

It doesn't seem valuable. They've done nothing to address the issues with modern view for years now, and instead are pushing it onto us without fixing anything that's wrong with it. Actions speak louder than words.

@cody_a for over a year now customers have been submitting their feedback here and directly to the developers using the feedback option, I know our team has. The feedback is overwhelming. No one wants Modern View. We have also requested updates on what developers plan to do about it.

Crickets. For over a year. We have received zero reply assuring us that any of our feedback will be implemented. So what exactly is the point?

@cody_a why isn't the feedback we're providing you here also being sent to the developers? If Quickbooks and Intuit were actually interested, isn't a basic part of hosting a forum to gather the response and regularly relay the information to the relevant departments?

No one wants Modern View. I'm sure you've seen that repeated time and time and time again for the past year. So, where exactly is the evidence that our feedback is valuable? Because platitudes aren't it.
