Ask the Expert Q&A I Business systems: The key to small business success

Hi there, lion12345678.

Thanks for reaching out for support here in the Community. I'm here to provide some info about checks that are under review in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

If you have your bank account connected to QuickBooks Online, deposits will show up in the For Review section of the banking page. From here, you can choose to add the transaction or match it to one that has already been entered in QBO.

Here's how to add the deposit to your QBO register from the For Review page:

1. Locate the transaction with the Add option in the Action column.

2. Click the transaction to expand the view.

3. Double check the recommended Category.

4. Change the vendor or customer as needed.

5. When everything looks good, select Add.

I recommend checking out the following article for even more info about categorizing and matching online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

By completing these steps you'll be able to get your QBO register updated with the check deposit you just made. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions. I'll be right here to help.
