Financial Accountant

The Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London, CT seeks a bookkeeper/accountant with a proven record of success for a part-time position. Reporting to the Museum Operations Director, this part-time on-site position is responsible for processing transactions in existing accounting system (QuickBooks) and performing various clerical tasks within the Finance department The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and has at least an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or 5 years of relevant accounting experience and is proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
