I shared this over FB live, so I thought I would share it with you too. 1) Focus your year-end marketing on the ONE service or product that will help YOUR CLIENT finish strong because if they win, you win. 2) Reach out to top prospects INDIVIDUALLY, not through broadcasts. This is the one time during the year that people actually want to talk to each other (ha!) so pick up the phone and say hello. 3) Start NOW! While everyone else is using the excuse of business slowing down during holidays, you can get a jump on 2018 and when January rolls around, you'll be 30 days ahead of the game! OK, those are my 3, what are yours?
Such fantastic tips @Anonymous. I would add "Take stock on 2017"! What worked? What didn't? What should you stop, start or continue in 2018? I love ending the year with a sense of where I've been so that I can start the new year with an educated "clean slate." :)
My three things you need to do: 1. Know where you are in your business - How much Money did you make in 2017? 2. List top 10 highest paying clients and those clients or services you rather not have. 3. Start thinking of dropping clients/services and focus more on high paying client or services.
It is simple math. To make $120,000 per year how many clients do you need. Example @$1,000 per client each month you need only 10 clients to deal with. Focus on empowering your clients and they will pay you what you deserve.
YES, YES, YESSSSS!!! Finish 2017 strong!! Let me first say, WOW 2017 flew. My three points to finish strong are 1) self reflect - on you, what worked for you, what do you want to strengthen in oneself to become a better business owner 2) filter through good and bad clients -paying and nonpaying clients 3) stay positive, stay inspired, stay motivated, pull the weeds, but never get bitter ONLY better! HAPPY growing!!
My three are:
Determine what's necessary for my online brand & work
Determine what's necessary for my offline brand & work
Eliminate, archive, and phase out what isn't necessary any longer....
The flotsam and jetsum of my first 15 years is no longer an asset to be mined, but something I'm only working around and having to deal with way too much.
I need to be more agile in 2018 -- a small but mighty force!
