Marketing Recalibration

Good Friday afternoon everyone! Thanks for joining me here on the Business Discussions board, where we cover a variety of interesting topics and advice. Today I wanted to share some key points I read in an article that was presented by Forbes. This specific article covered pointers on how to recalibrate your marketing plan. This information may be more helpful now for adjusting to recent changes, but can also be noted for future use, whenever you need it. Here are some tips for revamping current marketing strategies:

Audit
An audit in this context refers to going over your existing goals and planned activities. I thought the mention of 30, 60, 90 day plans and beyond was great advice. Make detailed notes of where you'd like to see your business 30, 60, and 90 days into the future.

Articulate
Once you've nailed down your goals, you need to communicate with your followers, clients, and/or customers what types of changes they can expect to see. Let them know how your content or production will be changing and make sure you have the correct resources to get the word out. This can include website updates, social media platform edits, email newsletters, etc.

Sprint
Move quickly to revise the current marketing plan to adapt to changes. This requires a rapid movement process that aligns budget to target, activities, clear owners, next steps, and results measurement. What does your company success now look like in December? What processes should be stopped or continued? Make any necessary revisions where needed.

For even more marketing recalibration ideas, I recommend the article I linked above. I hope each aspect listed helps you easily make adjustments to better your marketing techniques, and better your success over all. If you have any additions, I'd love for you to share them below!
