Showing Customer Appreciation through Social Media

Welcome back to the Talk About Your Business  page! Happy Wednesday, and I hope you guys are having a productive day! I was wondering, how do you show your customers your appreciation? I know some businesses do this in the form of thank you letters or emails. However, have you ever thought about showing your appreciation through your social media?

By now, we all know that social media has been effective in communicating with customers. If you have any updates, new merchandise, or a sale, this is an excellent means of sharing information. I recently followed a small business profile on Instagram, and lately, they have been doing "Customer's Appreciation" posts. They created a poster with the customer wearing their product and their testimonial of what they thought. I thought this was a neat idea and a great strategy to increase brand awareness and display your product or services.

This could be a grand gesture to incorporate into your social media platform. You could even do "Customer of the week" posts. Go through your books and determine which customers deserve to be highlighted. Rule of thumb: it is important to ask your customers permission to use their pictures or reviews on your platform.

If you receive their permission, the next step is to create the post. When organizing the post, be sure to include the product name and product number, the link for viewing the product, the customer's name, and testimonial. If the customer does not want to use their picture, you can create a post displaying "Customer Appreciation" and their statement. Here's an example that I generated below.

Customer Appreciation Post Alert!!!!!!!!!

Today, we wanted to take a minute to shout out our customer @SashaMC. She recently purchased a pink tortoiseshell frames style #123456. Here's what she had to say: " I LOVE these glasses, very comfortable, excellent quality and very cute. Thank you so much!" They say that you are never fully dressed without a smile, but they forgot to add cute frames! Link to our website in the bio. #happycustomer #lookinggood #newglasseswhothis

What do you think? Wouldn't this be an awesome idea to add to your social media platform? Let me know in the comment section. Until then, be safe and take care, my Community friends.
