1099s

Hi.

I just filed my 1099's online.  I have a few in DC and need to send to them.  I can mail them but I cannot figure out how to download or print them.  Can someone help?

Hi there, @knapiks.

If you have e-filed your 1099s using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and selected the option to have them printed and mailed to your people, our system will handle sending the copies to them on your behalf.

However, if you'd like to print or reprint the forms yourself, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to All Apps and select Expenses & Bills, then click on Contractors.
  2. Choose View 1099 Filings.
  3. Scroll to the Completed Forms section, and ensure you filter by the correct Current Filings, Status, and Form Type (either 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC).
  4. Once the forms are displayed, click on View. From there, you can either print them directly or download them first before printing.

If you haven’t used QBO to e-file your 1099s, you’ll need to manually create and print the forms yourself. To do so, you can purchase a 1099 Kit for printing. For more detailed information, check out this article: Print Your 1099 and 1096 Forms.
