Contractor can't find their 1099 for 2023.

I filed 2023 1099's through QBO.  Here is an email that I received from one of my contractors.

> I just received an email notice that my 1099 was ready. When I went to Intuit, it only had year 2020 in the 1099 tab. It did have my full payment history, including 2023?

What is the solution?

Thanks,

Nancy

Contractor can't find their 1099 for 2023.

Hello there, @Steel Valley.

Let's ensure you can find your 1099 forms in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If the 1099 was already sent, click the link attached in the email to sign in to QuickBooks Self-employed.

If your contractor still doesn't see the 1099 form, I suggest contacting our Customer Support team. They have the necessary tools to access your account securely and provide solutions.

You can reach them by going to the Help icon at the top right of the account. Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Help icon to connect to a live support agent.
  2. Click on the Contact Us button and provide some details about this concern.
  3. Provide us with some information about your concern in the What can we help you with? box and click on Continue.

Moreover, I'm adding this helpful articel as your reference in making corrections to 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC forms after you e-filed them: Correct or change 1099s in QuickBooks.

Come back to this post if you have other concerns about 1099 forms in QuickBooks Online. I'll be here to lend a hand.
