Anyone having issues e-filing form 940 in QBO? Every time I try to e-file, QBO gives me an error "Oops! We found a problem. This form can not be electronically filed". I've e-filed all other payroll forms - Form 941, CA DE9 & DE9C, W3/W2 with success for 5 clients. Also - only 3/5 clients can not be e-filed; therefore I know something is going on. Why e-file some and not others?
Furthermore, because I cannot wait for QBO to fix said issue, I have resorted to printing and mailing in the Form 940. Upon answering the question QBO poses " How would you like to file?" by clicking 'outside of QuickBooks' so QBO can record the filing, I receive ANOTHER error - "oops! we found a problem. We're having some technical difficulties. Please try again later". Since I have been trying to e-file these forms since beginning of January and no solutions have been made, what can I do to ensure this form gets recorded to my clients account and thus the books to ensure accurate accounting is done prior to filing the tax return, which is due SOON!.
