How can i change the GRT tax rate to round out 4 decimal places? QBO is calculating at 2 decimals.

Hello there,  joe-goodfaithmec. I see the significance of showing all the decimal numbers in a tax rate, especially when precision is crucial in tax rate calculations.

In QuickBooks Online, the option to set or change decimal formats for tax rates beyond the default two (2) decimals is currently unavailable. This option to show GRT tax rate to up to four decimal places would be a great addition to our current features.

With that, I encourage you to provide feedback from within QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear Settings gear icon. icon, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your product suggestions.
  3. Then select Next to submit.

Additionally, you can check out this article for more information about editing and configuring sales tax rates: Set up your sales tax in QuickBooks Online.

Drop me a comment below if you have any other questions concerns about tax rates. I'll be more than happy to help. Wishing you a good one.
