How do I open previously efiled tax returns

Let's open the previously filed tax return successfully, hiline1.

The E-Filings tab shows details, but it'll not open as PDF. Since they are visible in the E-filings tab, you'll see them in the Saved Filings tab. From there, you can open CA DE9s and send PDFs to your tax person. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Employees menu and select Payroll Center.
  2. Click File Forms.
  3. Under Filing History, select Saved Filings.
  4. Find the form you want to view.

Still, please note that the location of your company file affects the saved filings, so ensure your company file is not in a different location.

Additionally, you can read this article if you need to correct your employees' YTD or other payroll data: Adjust payroll liabilities in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

If you still have concerns about viewing forms in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, please let me know by commenting below. I'll be around to help.
