Since you have received an IRS notice to file Form 944 instead of Form 941, you'll need to update this to ensure you file the correct form and pay taxes on time. Here's how:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
- Select Edit next to Federal Tax.
- Select Form 944 each year from the Which payroll tax form do you file with the IRS? Dropdown.
- Click Save.
