Please know that you can only delete a manually recorded (non-electronic) tax payment that hasn't been processed electronically, and meets specific timing requirements. If so, we can start by clearing the cache and deleting Intuit-specific cookies, as accumulated ones can sometimes affect its performance. You can also switch to another compatible option to ensure the browser is running the program as designed.
On the other hand, you cannot remove a tax payment if it has already been processed electronically, was sent or accepted by the agency along with the tax form, or rejected due to insufficient funds (NSF). If your taxes are paid automatically through QuickBooks, any payments already collected cannot be deleted.

I had the same issue-the tax payment is recorded in QB but the payment is made outside of QB. There was a $.01 difference in the actual payment and what was recorded which is why I wanted to delete the automated recorded payment.
I have had this problem also; a duplicate tax payment was entered in the register. Try to delete but says " hit a snag" tried to clear cache, no help. I hate this program desktop was great never a problem in 14 years, always an issue now. Anybody have a good recommendation for an alternative program?
