ID UI Wage Base 2024 Incorrect

I have updated payroll so I know everything is current.  My ID UI wage base is incorrect and I can't adjust it.  I don't have to really worry about it for a few months but I figured that it would have been updated in QB by now.  Is it going to happen soon?

ID UI Wage Base 2024 Incorrect

I want to ensure that your concern about the incorrect Idaho Unemployment Insurance (UI) wage base in QuickBooks will be addressed, @LisaNTC

Yes, we will indeed release the new wage base limit soon. QuickBooks is compliant with the latest regulations, and the update will be made available before the effective date of the new wage base limit.

If you haven't received notifications about the update, we recommend checking your tax table for any changes. Rest assured that we are committed to ensuring that your payroll information remains accurate and up-to-date.

For more information, I encourage you to check this article: Understand Payroll Tax Wage bases and limits

On the other hand, check out this article to help track your payroll and employee expenses in QBDT: Customize payroll and employee reports. This will help you focus on the most essential information for your business.

Please keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing your payroll transactions in QBDT. I'll be here to lend a helping hand. Have a great day ahead!

ID UI Wage Base 2024 Incorrect

Hi there, @MeganAcct.

Let me add info about the wage base and direct you to the best possible help to check for your account.

While you can't personally modify wage base limits, you do need to update them every year if you use QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). To update the wage base limit download the latest payroll updates.

Since on your end, it hasn't been corrected, I recommend QBDT Payroll support check your account and review why your wage base remains incorrect. Here's how:

You might want to view reports about employee info, wages, taxes, and deductions. Feel free to read this article: Run payroll reports.

I have also noticed the incorrect Idaho UI Taxable Wage base amount, and have been checking daily for a QB update to correct this amount, but as of today, they have not addressed this issue.

ID UI Wage Base 2024 Incorrect

It is still showing the incorrect wage base for Idaho Unemployment.

When will this be fixed?  We've updated our payroll tax tables as of today and it's still incorrect.

ID UI Wage Base 2024 Incorrect

I understand the importance of correcting your wage base for Idaho unemployment, kjk01. Let me share some information about this matter.

The wage base limit in QuickBooks Online gets updated by the tax table. For now, we're currently working on payroll compliance, and we don't have a release date for the update yet. In the meantime, you can run your payroll as usual, and once the update is out, QuickBooks Online will automatically adjust your next payroll.

If you want to check the full details on how to update your wage base limits, you can check this guide: Get the latest tax table update in QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

I'll include this article to learn more about the state payroll tax wage bases and limits: Understand payroll tax wage bases and limits.

Let me know if you have more questions besides the wage base. Just click the Reply button, and I'll keep in touch with you.
