We appreciate you for bringing this matter to our attention, budget. We want to ensure this is addressed quickly, so you can track sales taxes in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app and record your transactions accordingly.

For the time being, we've received similar cases where users like you encountered issues populating auto sales taxes when using the mobile app. In keeping with this, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team so they can gather more details and come up with a fix. Let's do this through the web, here's how:

      1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company (on the web).
      2. Go to Help (?).
      3. Select either tab to get started:
        • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. Choose Talk to a human if you decide you need further assistance.
        • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us: Start a chat with a support expert or Get a callback from the next available expert.

As a workaround, you can utilize the web version of QBO to create estimates and invoices.

Additionally, whenever you're ready to file your sales tax return and record your payment in QBO, you may find this article handy to guide you through the complete process: Manage sales tax payments in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to visit us anytime if you need further assistance managing invoices and other sales transactions in QBO. As always, the Community team will be around to help you out again. Keep safe.
