Join nowHi, I e-filed my 1099s through QB Online. The IRS rejected one of them, and QB's Help section says to open the Taxes > 1099s tab and click the VOID button at the top. There is no void button anywhere on the screen. Has anyone else encountered this? What do I do now?
Same issue! And support is telling me they can't be voided or changed until February... makes no sense!
Same issue here. Did support give a reason for this?
I have the same issue and the rep told me to wait until February and it the Void button will appear. I am not that crazy! They must be filed as accepted by January 31st. The instructions clearly say to click Void and start process again, but that is not matching the system. So frustrating!
Wow ok, I am glad to hear it isn't just me. I hope they change the settings so I can reissue the 1099 before February...
Someone else just posted about this in the forum, and QB replied to us saying that Engineering is working on the issue. So it sounds like Customer Care doesn't realize that this is actually a glitch....
Thank you for raising your concern here, Laura, @jands61, @cdp99, and @vtsarah.
Unfortunately, all customer care reps do not know this. They keep trying to tell callers to wait or one even told me to call the IRS and ask how I can get them fixed! The more I call, the more frustrating it becomes. Each rep has a different opinion on what to do and to the customer's misfortune, none of the suggestions are acceptable.
I was able to successfully void my 1099s this morning!
We really appreciate you updating us in the thread, @cdp99.
I'm glad that you're able to void your 1099s. You can now process your federal forms once again to stay compliant, avoiding any related issues in the future.
