I use Enterprise 23. At what point will QB actually implement a convenient way to handle the Colorado RDF?

Not wishing to be argumentative, but it's per invoice not per item... and...  if the order takes 10 deliveries it's still only ONE per invoice.

@JacksTrans  to be honest, and as much as I'd love to put this on QB, I don't think they can.

While many users might always have a single invoice per order and it's always delivered and so the RDF would always apply, many users don't have that situation...   I work for a ton of photographers- some deliver physical items some of the time, some never or rarely and QB has no way of knowing if one of their clients is coming to pick up physical items or not so it's down to the user to remember to add it when it applies.

I've set up a liability and an expense account for RDF as well as an item in products and services.. not brilliant but it does work.

I know people have been discussing this for a while but I am curious if someone can answer this question for me.  I'm a QBO user and am curious what Category/Account the "July 2022 New Colorado Retailer's Delivery Fee," should be placed in?  Can it get categorized in the same account as the rest of my delivery fees?  I see a lot of people are wanting to separate them out to be able to easily see what they have to pay each month. I have been paying it each month but I'm curious for tax purposes where it should be categorized?
