The employees hours on the payroll summary does not match what the OQ is reporting for the whole hours worked for almost every employee. This has been going on ALL year. When will this be fixed?
All reports that i generate for the 4Q 2023 consistantly shows the same amount of hours worked, but when I generate the OQ/Form 132, the hours are increased an average of 2-3 hours per employee. The total hours being over reported is 42.
There have been multiple problems with Enterprise since the roll out of Paid Family Medical Leave. My Liabilities for UI, WBF, & PFML do not match anymore wither. In years past and with other versions of QB desktop those liabilities would always match to the penny.
Thanks for sharing your concern with us, matsu.
I've got your back! Let me share some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted out.
There might be an issue with your company file's data that's causing the payroll summary to not match what the OQ is reporting for the whole hours worked for almost every employee. Verifying it will detect any damaged data and fix it by rebuilding it. It also allows your QuickBooks software to refresh the data inside the company file.
Beforehand, make sure to create a backup copy. If there are changes that occur, having a copy allows you to restore it to undo the changes.
ollow the steps below on how to verify data:
Next, here's how to rebuild data:
Additionally, it's best to make sure your QuickBooks Desktop is up-to-date. This way, you always have its latest features and fixes.
Keep me updated on how this works on your end. I'm determined to help you succeed. Take care always, matsu!
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately for me i have done these steps multiple times throughout the year with phone support agents resulting in no problems in my files detected every time the agent ran me through the troubleshooting steps.
