There are two ways to check your previous W-2 forms in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Payroll account, wangyanliang. I’ll guide you through both ways.

If you processed and filed your W-2s through QuickBooks Online Payroll, here’s how to find them:

  1. On the left menu, go to Accounting, then click the dropdown arrow under Payroll and choose Payroll Taxes.
  2. Click the Filings tab.
  3. Look for a section called Archived forms and filings located at the bottom of the screen.

  4. From there, choose the year and select the W-2 Copies B, C, & 2 to view or print employee copies.

If you filed your W-2s manually, no worries, you can still run payroll reports to see all the wages, taxes, and deductions:

  1. Go back to your dashboard and click Reports on the left.
  2. Search for Payroll Summary.
  3. Set the date range to when you paid your W-2 employees (like last year or a specific quarter).
  4. That report will show you the totals that make up your W-2s.

If you have any other questions or need help with QBO Payroll, just come back here. We’re happy to help!
