is there an easier way to track resale certificates in quickbooks online?

the resale number is input into the additional info areas. I also put it into the notes field. I'm thinking is there a report i'm missing. i'll attach second attachment in another reply.

Thanks for following up with us. 

I believe I've found a great report for you to see all the customers that have resale certificates. I'm including some steps below to show you how to run the report. 

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Select Reports (Take me there).
3. In the Sales and customers ▼ dropdown, click on Customer Contact List.
4. Hit Customize.
5. Tap on Change columns, then select the Taxable checkbox.
6. Click Run report to show taxable and nontaxable customers.
    

Please Note: Taxable customers are marked with Yes in the Taxable column, while nontaxable customers are left blank.

that is great, but I have a slight modification to your instructions in that the column to check is actually called "resale" so I am able to see all of the resale numbers at a glance and save that report for future reference
