SALE EXTENDED 70% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends 12/8
Buy nowOur non-profit runs a food bank and 2 thrift stores - all in one company file. We are struggling with separating taxes, since the 2 stores are different zip codes and rates. Can Location tracking be useful here? What we see now is the way to set sales tax using our Business Address - but that seems improper. Our business address doesn't sell anything - it is the non-profit office address. The sales tax is collected at 2 different locations with their own tax code. Please, help. I can't believe this would be something new to solve.
You should have POS solution to sync with QBO. Otherwise, use old QB Desktop with a non subscription license to manage your activities in 2 different locations. Then you will import data from each location to QBO.
We use Square for POS. It handles locations just fine and imports to QBO. We can handle a single location but not clear how to handle additional locations with different tax code from “business location” configured. So, does QBO handle multiple tax locations ? How?
