W2s

Yes, you can obtain a W-2 from your QuickBooks Online account, knobrien. I'm here to help you navigate tax documents quickly and efficiently.

If you're an employer and you're looking to obtain paper copies of your W-2 form, you can follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Taxes, then choose Payroll tax.
  2. Go to the Filings section.Employer W-2.png
  3. Click on Resources, then select W-2s.
  4. Review the list of employees who opted for a printed copy of their W-2s.
  5. If your automated taxes and forms setting is turned off, check your Form W-2 print settings. Select Change setting to modify the paper type if required.
  6. To access the specific W-2 form you need, click on View or Manage next to the appropriate copy.
  7. Choose View and print.
  8. Click the Print icon on the Adobe Reader toolbar, then select Print.

If you are an employee looking to view your W-2, you can do so through QuickBooks Workforce. After your employer invites you to QuickBooks Workforce and you set up your account, you can view and print your W-2 forms. Additionally, you can access any other documents your employer shares with you.

Here's how to get your W-2 in QuickBooks Workforce through the web browser:

  1. Log in to QuickBooks Workforce.
  2. Navigate to the Documents tab.
  3. Choose either W-2s or Shared Documents.
  4. Locate and select the W-2 form or document you wish to view or download, and then print it as needed.

Following these steps will allow you to access, download, and print your W-2 form easily.
