Buy nowI'm convinced this is a glitch in the system. When I sign in at work, Intuit sends an authorization code to my boss's email, which I don't always have access to, which means I can't sign in. When I sign in from home, I don't get the authorization step, so it has nothing to do with two-step verification, which isn't on anyway. However, I discovered a work around. Create a new email address for yourself at any of the free ones, like Yahoo or Gmail. When you have been able to log in as the user you prefer to use, invite your new email self to join. Go thru the steps of setting your new email address up as a new user with the same access you have as your regular user self. Next time you need to sign in, enter your new email address. Instead of sending an authorization code, it asks you for your password. Enter whatever new password you used and you are in. To get back to your regular user self, log out, and then immediately log back in. This time you have the option to log back in as your old user self and password, and it doesn't send an authorization to your email.
