Before proceeding, make sure to complete and process your final payroll. Also, print the necessary payroll reports before canceling the QBO payroll subscription to have a copy of your financial data.
Additionally, if you use a payroll service where you handle your own tax payments and filings, ensure that you:
- Settle any pending tax deposits.
- Complete and submit any pending annual or quarterly forms.
Then, you can follow these steps to cancel your payroll subscription:
- Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
- Select Billing & Subscription.
- In the Payroll section, select Cancel.
- Fill out the online cancelation form to complete your cancelation.
